The WHIS Youth Ambassador programme is a flagship initiative. This initiative seeks to place young people within ongoing conversations around the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as enhance the active role and capacity of young people to respond to challenges around the world.

The WHIS Youth Ambassador programme is a flagship initiative. This initiative seeks to place young people within ongoing conversations around the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as enhance the active role and capacity of young people to respond to challenges around the world.
The role of the Youth Ambassadors will be as follows:
To become a WHIS Ambassador:
- You must be between the age of 18 and 35
- Demonstrate strong interest in Global Health and SDGs
- Be a member of a vibrant youth group and have the ability to impact young people across communities
- Be willing to commit to become a WHIS Youth Ambassador for 12 months
- Be fluent in English
Benefits of becoming a WHIS Ambassador
- Recognition as a positive change maker and influencer, particularly in promoting global health and sustainable development
- Trainings and development on global health
- Opportunities to speak at WHIS (Minimum of one global virtual event per year)
- Recognition and listing as a contributor to global health change
- Letter of commendation from WHIS and certification on completion
- Be part of our World Health Innovators Alliance
