World Health Innovation Summit (WHIS)
Building the Future of Healthcare: WHIS Strategic Investment Thesis
Mission
The World Health Service exists to accelerate global health equity by pioneering sustainable, preventive healthcare models rooted in innovation, community empowerment, and cross-sector collaboration.
Overview
The World Health Service is a fiscally sponsored organisation of Legacy Global (501(c)(3)). We are committed to delivering on UN Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing, by improving individual health and wellbeing, strengthening health systems, and creating new, meaningful jobs. Our work is grounded in the implementation of all 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
We are pioneering new healthcare models globally by creating a knowledge transfer platform that supports health economies through the integration of human, social, and structural capital.
Market Opportunity
Global healthcare spending exceeds $9 trillion annually and continues to rise. Yet 80% of costs are spent on treating preventable conditions. The preventive health market alone is projected to grow from $300 billion in 2022 to $600 billion by 2030, while digital health is set to surpass $400 billion by 2027.
WHIS is uniquely positioned at the intersection of prevention, digital innovation, and community empowerment. Unlike traditional healthcare organizations, WHIS integrates global knowledge-sharing with local implementation, creating scalable models that deliver both social and financial return.
