What WHS is

Charitable capital for prevention-first health

The World Health Service (WHS) operates as a component fund of Legacy Global Programs, a US public 501(c)(3) charity. It channels gifts and grants into WHIS programmes that shift systems from reactive sick-care to community-based prevention.

Traditional health funding is often siloed, short-term, and reactive. WHS deploys blended capital across public, private, and philanthropic partners to fund what works — social prescribing, workforce wellbeing, healthy ageing, and place-based innovation.
