Background:
The World Health Innovation Summit (WHIS) is a global platform dedicated to improving health and wellbeing through innovation, collaboration, and community-driven solutions. Our mission focuses on Good Health and Wellbeing,
emphasising prevention, social prescribing, and holistic health approaches.
WHIS London – October 2025
In October 2025, WHIS will officially launch its activities in London as part of our city-based expansion strategy. The initiative will focus on:
✅ Community-Led Health Solutions – Engaging local leaders to tailor WHIS services to London's unique health challenges.
✅ WHIS Program Implementation – Introducing WHISKids, WHISatwork, WHISSeniors, and other targeted health initiatives.
✅ Reducing Health Inequalities – Aligning with government policies to address disparities and promote equitable access to health services.
✅ Strategic Partnerships – Collaborating with the NHS, local councils, businesses, and third-sector organizations.
✅ Public Engagement & Events – Hosting interactive health workshops, expert panels, and networking opportunities.
WHIS London – Festival of Health: Mental Health & Community Wellbeing

Objectives:
- Highlight the intersection of sports, mental health, and grassroots community wellbeing.
- Engage and encourage London football clubs in promoting mental health awareness in their communities.
- Provide solutions for tackling mental health inequalities through policy, social prescribing, peer support, community circles and innovation.
- Support NHS Staff recruitment, retention and training.
- Showcase London/NICE/DoHSC/NHS England as a leader in health innovation and future investment in healthcare
Strategic Integration with WHIS London and Start Change:
