WHIS UK is the founding chapter, working with NHS England, NASP, and local authorities to scale social prescribing and prevention-first health innovation across all four nations.
WHIS UK is the founding chapter of the World Health Innovation Summit. Established in 2015, it convenes NHS leaders, local authorities, community organisations, researchers, and innovators to drive prevention-first, person-centred health systems.
What we do in the UK
- Annual UK summit and city-level convenings
- Partnerships with NHS England, NASP, and devolved health bodies
- WHISKids and WHISatWork pilots in Cumbria, Manchester, and London
- Co-leadership of the Global Social Prescribing Alliance (GSPA)
- Research collaborations on prevention, AMR/sepsis, and digital health
