Gareth Presch to speak at the Creative Thinkers Forum, Cumbria,UK

Gareth Presch launched WHIS at Carlisle Ambassadors

The Creative Thinkers series brings artists and thinkers to Morland (Cumbria, UK) to explore and inspire across a wide range of subjects. A second run of inspiring talks at The Studio Morland continue in February and March with some fabulous speakers in conversation about creativity, trauma, life, connectedness, suicide, love, art, health and the messy business of being human.

The second part of the series the speakers include Trevor Avery, who founded the Lake District Holocaust project and will talk about his creative life and other insightful stories of human-ness, Rosie Galloway Smith, an extraordinary Carlisle-based artist exploring how we as humans navigate a complex world, Gareth Presch, Founder of the World Health Innovation Summit on ‘why our current healthcare system is failing us and what we can do about it”, and Morlander Andy Airey of ‘3 Dad’s Walking’ who will be launching a new book at the end of March and raise funds for Papyrus suicide prevention.

Gareth Presch Chaired a number of high level sessions on health and climate at COP28 recently.

[World Health Innovation Summit was founded in Carlisle, Cumbria and has been pioneering new healthcare models around the world. Since it’s inception in 2015 events and activities have been hosted around the world and Gareth has been working with global agencies to support moving the health sector from SICK CARE TO HEALTHCARE using the model that was created in Cumbria.

Gareth will share with his journey and thoughts on the current health system and its challenges. He’ll outline what the World Health Innovation Summit and its partners are doing to support healths systems worldwide and how we’re creating new and meaningful jobs while ensuring we leave no-one behind.
