AFYA FOR AFRICA are bringing together 16 football teams for an entire week of spirited competition, culminating in the final on the 3rd August 2024.
We’re gearing up for an exciting event that is merging sport and health innovation in Kenya.
The event promises a dynamic celebration of both athleticism and healthcare ingenuity. Drawing teams from the vibrant constituencies of Kisumu East, Kisumu West, and Kisumu Central, the event symbolizes unity and community engagement in promoting health innovation. Notably, the occasion anticipates the esteemed presence of the County Government Minister for Sports, set to inaugurate the World Health Innovation Day in Kisumu, alongside an invitation extended to the Director of Health, Kisumu County.
As the anticipation builds, prizes are set to reward the outstanding performances of the participating teams. The coveted World Health Innovation Day Trophy, alongside sports attire and balls, awaits the victorious champions. Additionally, the second runner-up will be awarded sports apparel and balls, while the third-place team will receive balls, ensuring recognition for commendable efforts across the board.
This event not only fosters competition but also underscores the importance of health innovation in community development and well-being.
