The Global Social Prescribing Alliance (GSPA) is pleased to present its strategic direction for 2026–2029. This report builds on years of collaboration with colleagues around the world to define the Alliance’s principles, possibilities, and priorities for advancing social prescribing globally.

Gareth Presch, CEO of GSPA and WHIS, said: “Since the launch of GSPA, we have been working to build a truly global network of champions, empowering communities and health systems to scale social prescribing internationally. This strategy sets out how we will continue to drive real-world impact, connecting people to meaningful community activities that boost wellbeing — prescribing a life, not just medicine.”
