47% of U.S. physicians are aged 55 and over.
There will be an estimated shortage of 139,160 physicians by 2030 with a projected shortage of 200,000 to 450,000 nurses in the U.S.
Africa will be short of 6 million health professionals by 2030 and it’s a similar story the GCC, South America etc.
We want to ensure we support Governments, Health providers and local communities with solutions that can support recruitment and retention. We also need to look at how we create new and meaningful jobs (Link Workers Global Social Prescribing Alliance etc ) and that’s why today we’re launching our World Health Innovation Summit CIC Sustainable Health and Social Care Workforce Solutions.
